Have you got the push to talk working yet?
I am going to go ahead and buy two of those push to talk ones from Maplin I think.
We know they work pretty well, and I can't find them much cheaper on eBay sooo....

Kolnai, the only problem is that so far we only have 1 charger for every TWO radios.
The charger uses a 2.5mm headphone jack. Am looking to find some cheap ones to buy...

So Radios cost roughly £15 each, the headset (that we have) cost between £10-15 each.
Total of £30 for 1 radio and helmet kit.

Me and wildkid got a cobra set, with push to talk and vox, they did work, but the batteries we had were ************ :L

Okay, so just a tad over £25 per radio including helmet kit.

Just need to solve the issue regarding chargers now :p

Cobra M600?? I've got 4 of those from a European road trip a few years ago. They were a bit ************e tbh, but they are cheap, so you get what you pay for. Short battery life and 2 of the 4 broke, problems like you could hear but not speak on them etc. I think 2 of them still work ok and I have the chargers, so I may just need a headset:)

They use the standard frequencies, so any radio really would work :)

I'm considering buying a pair of these, my rideouts crew all have them apart from myself and a friend, still available for cheap as chips? :)

Yeah, ask Bikerboy. He can hook you up :p
So long as you buy two (£50 complete set) then there isn't an issue.

Most importantly, when we all meet up, we should have enough radios to try and prevent people getting lost :p

AND, during your CBT / test / lessons etc, you don't have to use the naff ones they tend to give you ><

When I worked it out, it is £25 each. (which is almost £20)
    Two radios = £50.
    (including headsets)
